Renaming layers/arrow buttons on text in iPadOS 15, Affinity Photo 1.10.2

Recommended Posts

The latest version of Affinity Photos for iPadOS 15 (1.10.2 Affinity version) broke support for renaming layers. The process works until you try to close the layer renaming box, at which point the app crashes and disappears.

Also, the ability to move the cursor in text-editing situations has been removed from this version. Trackpad and touch can still select text and move the cursor, but the arrow keys on a hardware keyboard can no longer do this.

Layer renaming works for me, always worth trying closing all apps and doing a Forced Restart of your iPad.

Confirmed: Cursor keys no longer work, hopefully this is fixed soon.
