LaraJ
Hi, When applying multiple master pages to a range of pages, is there a way to remove only one of the master pages (without clearing ALL masters) for several pages of the document at once? Thanks!
Old Bruce
Before I start suggesting things... You have Masters A, B, and C You apply them to Pages 1-8. So now you have Pages 1 to 8 with Master A and B and C applied to each page. You want to remove Master B from Page 5. Am I close? Try apply Master A to Page 5 with Remove Masters and then Apply Master C to Page 5 with Do not remove. LaraJ
@Old Bruce It's more like I have masters A, B and C applied to page 1 to 4 and master A, B and D applied to page 5 to 8. I want to remove master B from pages 2 to 6.
carl123
Delete the Master B page from Master Pages panel, which will remove it from all pages Recreate Master B page Select pages you want to apply it to and reapply Master B to those pages only Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Old Bruce
Go to the individual pages (2 to 6) and use the Layers panel and remove Master B from page 2, then page 3 and on and on. 25 minutes ago, LaraJ said: @Old Bruce It's more like I have masters A, B and C applied to page 1 to 4 and master A, B and D applied to page 5 to 8. LaraJ
@Old Bruce Yeah, I think that's what I'll have to do in the end. Unfortunately, the document has hundreds of pages so I'll have to manually remove Master B from dozens of pages. I was really hoping a quicker solution was available.
