export window disappears in photo

Hi, I've all of a sudden lost Export in the Photo window as i tried to export a photo in PDF, now the window disappears as soon as i press Export and i get a page to say the problem has been sent. Then i re-open but it's just the same: Can anybody help please. Puffin.

Welcome to Affinity Forums :)

Are you using the Mac App Store (MAS) version or the latest Beta? There's some known issues with PDF export in the latest Beta.

If you are using the MAS version, can you please attach the file here or send me a dropbox link via PM (personal message) so i can check this out?

Hi  MEB, thanks for replying quickly. I am using the BETA version 1.3.5.7, i think i might have solved the problem of getting the drop down window back ( i reset in the preferences panel } and are using JPEG/TIFF, i will not use the PDF format until the "bug" is fixed, if there is one. I was just checking to see if the PDF came out alright, once again thanks

PS; If it is an issue can you please let me know if and when it is fixed, until then i will use the other formats. Puffin. :) .

Hi Puffin,

The PDF export is broken it the latest Beta. It should be fixed in the next one. You should receive a notification about the new version (along with a download link) when you run Photo Beta as soon as it becomes available.
