Preserve selection while creating curves

I can confirm this is a known bug which is logged with our developers

Unless I am missing something, there is no "Preserve Selection When Creating New Curves" option for the AD Pencil tool, but there is for the Pen Tool, & it is with this tool that this bug occurs.

FWIW, I discovered a weird workaround for this that works on my Mac: after the second node is placed with the Pen Tool, if I hold down the CMD key to temporarily switch to the Node Tool to click either the first or second node, then release the CMD key to return to the Pen Tool, I can continue adding nodes to the current curve instead of starting a new two-node curve.

So if you really want to keep the last curve selected when drawing a new one, it can be done with a not too inconvenient workaround.

Agreed, I believe this is a mistake in the OPs report as the context toolbar screenshot is certainly for the Pen tool and not the Pencil tool - as is the development report for this issue.

Thank you for providing this, I'll be sure to update the development log with this info :)
