Valdi Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 Hello my name is Valdi and this is the first time I write something here. Until now affinity programs have been working 100%. Yesterday I accepted the newest update for the publisher 1.10.0 and after it had been installed my publisher files will not open. This is very difficult situation because I´m publishing 2 new books soon. Is there a way to uninstall this update? or is there any other fix to this. p.s. my operating system is MacOs Big Sur version 11.0.1 Best regards Valdi Quote
georglind Posted August 13, 2021 Posted August 13, 2021 It looks very similar to my problem, and I also have a deadline coming up shortly! I learned that you can download all previous versions from here https://store.serif.com/en-us/update/macos/publisher/1/. I learned that these only work with licenses purchased directly from Serif (not from the App Store), and since I purchased mine through the App Store I chose the trial version so far (lasts ten days). I some for some fix before that so I don't need to purchase another license. Quote
Valdi Posted August 14, 2021 Author Posted August 14, 2021 Thank you georglind for your reply, I will check this out Quote
Iain Bason Posted August 14, 2021 Posted August 14, 2021 I've been having the same problem (except it was also crashing when opening a document created in 1.10.0), and downloading 1.9.3 worked for me too. Thanks! Quote

joaocrsilva Posted August 16, 2021 Posted August 16, 2021 Hi, I'm having the same problem. I'm trying to open older files, but publisher keeps crashing and I can't open it. I'm having this problem on Publisher but also in Designer. Quote
Staff Jon P Posted August 16, 2021 Staff Posted August 16, 2021 There is a fix for some files crashing on open in the latest beta here. Please try this and let us know if you still have issues opening your files in the beta Quote Serif Europe Ltd. - www.serif.com
