zwilson Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 I created and empty document in Designer. Then I created a layer and created several different colored circles. I created another layer and created several different color circles on it. When I selected a blue circle and went to select same fill color only the blue circles on that layer where selected but the blue circles on the other layer were not selected. Is this a bug or is it working as intended for now. Quote
walt.farrell Posted August 11, 2021 Posted August 11, 2021 For me, on Windows, Select Same > Fill Color is not limited to selecting objects from a single Layer. In fact, it cannot be limited, even by Locking a layer or turning off Edit All Layers. So I'm curious why it seems to be limited to a single Layer for you. What OS are you on? Can you provide the .afdesign document for us to examine? Thar be a weird problem where if you change the Layers normal fill colour from none to the same blue (or any) colour you use for objects already in that Layer Then a colour find for those objects will be restricted to that Layer only, not others Something similar has been discussed on the forums recently but can't find it now walt.farrell 1 Quote To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. Not sure if that's the one you're thinking of.
