Welcome to the Serif Affinity forums, @ownjack.

It's odd that you can create a topic in the Questions area of the forums, but not the Bugs area. But I see you did manage to post one, so that's good.

Hi @ownjack,

Welcome to the Affinity Forums :)

Are you still experiencing this issue when accessing the Affinity Forums? As Walt has mentioned it's certainly strange that you can access certain pages correctly, but not others.

Have you tried clearing your cookies/history/cache for your Web Browser? This can usually resolve many unexpected issues with loading web pages.

I notice your title also mentions being unable to reply to threads, however I can see you have posted twice here - if you're still having trouble posting a reply in this thread please feel free to direct message myself with your answers/results of the reset!

CloudFront cannot connect to origins with invalid certificates. You have a few options:

  • You can configure your distribution to connect to your backed on http only.
  • Put an ELB/ALB in front of your instance and terminate the TLS on the Balancer. You can use Amazon Certificate manager to create a certificate for free.
  • Purchase a certificate from a 3rd party and use it on your instance.

I met this issue some time before. The request blocked by CloudFront.

Please check this list:

CDN domain added in Cloudfront Alternate Domain Names. Once you add CDN domain to Cloudfront, you can select CloudFront endpoint without typing

WAF (if any) does not block your request

Check Http and Https
