Affinity Publisher Download Problem

Hello Community,

I'm trying to download Affinity Publisher to my fairly new MacBook Pro. I purchased the app June 20, 2019 and can see the purchase and product key information. After for the download to complete, I get the message that Publisher 1.9.3.dmg download doesn't appear to be a download file. I also contacted customer service days ago and still have no answer. Can someone please tell me if I'm doing something wrong or...????

My other MAC died so it is not a matter of using the app on 2 computers. This is a pretty straightforward process, so I can't imagine why I can't get this done. Thank you for your assistance!

Please could you provide a screen recording showing what happens when you try to run the downloaded file?
