nitro912gr
Hello, not sure what changed because I haven't changed anything at driver level or affinity version for some time now, but lately affinity designer doesn't get the print size from the driver in the print dialog box. It doesn't happen all the time so I still try to pinpoint the problem, but is it possible that this have something to do with that print spooling problem microsoft had with windows lately and they patched? Staff Sean P Posted August 4, 2021 Staff Share Posted August 4, 2021 Hi nitro912gr, Thanks for letting us know - what printer are you using? I've been using a HP Deskjet 3050a and have been able to reproduce what you're seeing. Some sizes (A4, A5) update the dialog first time, where as other sizes (4x6in, 8x10in don't). For the sizes that don't if I go back into the Printer Properties and click OK again, the size then updates in the print dialog. That would explain why it doesn't always happen for you as well! See attached video. I'll get this passed over to development. PaperSizes2.mp4 nitro912gr
nitro912gr
Hello I use a Develop Ineo+ 258 (same with konica minolta C258) with windows 10. I mostly have problems with selecting custom sizes that is like 50% of what I print, but after a few tries the dialog box change from defined from printer to custom size and it take the size from the driver. I use PCL and PS drivers, mostly to the same effect, not matter what I choose (they show up like different printers to select in printer selection). nitro912gr
Hello is there something new on that? As I'm entering the new season and start to print a lot again, I noticed this problem is still here and it is no small disruption.
