JEDI DESIGNER Posted July 29, 2021 Share Posted July 29, 2021 I own all the windows versions of these 3 apps (love them!). The icons for all apps, Photo, Designer, and Studio are in tile format, and this works fine for the Windows 10 tiled aesthetic. But I have been using the Windows 11 preview and it looks really outdated. I think it's because they've gotten rid of start tiles all together and just have the app icon pinned to the start now. I think icons like the one posted below, that go a little beyond just a 2D square would fit much better and be more appealing. In no way did I mean to imply that this is a needed change for Windows 11, I'm sorry if it came across that way. What I was attempting to get across is that the icons themselves fall short because of their 2D and square nature (which I incorrectly assumed was the way it was because of Windows 10). All I was trying to say is that I thought the icons needed a refresh! And hearing you confirm that is the case is all I needed to hear. Can't wait for 1.10!
