UweN
Hello, a photo book (size 30x30cm) and 80 pages and about 450 TIF (about 2,5MByte per photo 300dpi) photos linked. All files are on a Synology NAS via 1GB Lan cable in the home network. Externally some photos have been changed: only XMP metadata added. In the resource management these changed photos appear with the corresponding status. Now when I select a photo and press the "Refresh" button, it takes about 2 minutes before the photo has the status OK and then again more than 1 minute before I can select the next photo via scroll down. If I do the same with the same document in Indesign CS6 it takes less than a second to update the photo. BTW, it takes minutes before the document even loads and I can start editing. All this takes only a few seconds in Indesign CS6. Also tested with the beta1.10.0.1115 - same result. Regards, Uwe
Staff Pauls Posted September 30, 2021 Staff Share Posted September 30, 2021 has this improved with the 1.10 version?
UweN
1.10.4.1198: Sorry for the late reply. I tagged a lot of photos (keywords etc) over the weekend and therefore had to update the resources of a photo chronicle. What can I say: the update for about 650 photos has been running for over an hour and will probably take at least another hour - if the process hopefully doesn't crash in between. regards, Uwe
