Hello everybody.

I am tempted to buy a LENOVO YOGA laptop to carry around. There are some with fairly powerfull configuration but none of them has a high end graphic card. I wonder if anyone has experience working with this kind of computer. Are the graphic cards like "Intel Iris Xe Graphics" or "NVIDIA GeForce MX130" any good to work on with Affinity Photo?

Thank you,

Hi @Feribayati,

Apologies for the delayed response here!

I can confirm that both of these GPU's are compatible with Affinity applications, however if you wish to take advantage of OpenCL Hardware Acceleration then this is only supported on the Intel Iris chip, as the MX130 does not support the correct Feature Level of DirectX 12 support for the Affinity suite.

I hope this clears things up :)

Quite late, but here's the answer. If anybody else is interested. I've got a Lenovo Thinkbook YOGA 14s with Intel Iris XE and I can confirm that it works, but terribly slow and at 100 % CPU. With the acceleration turned off everything is lighting fast
