rintin
Hi there, User of affinity photo and designer for windows (desktop). Is there any way to ONLY show fonts from a specific folder instead all the installed ones? Is a mess to guess if one is good or not for a purpose or another one deppending on its license. Would be helpful having the option to list only those ones we have in specific folders. If is imposible at this point, I suggest to add this feature. Ron P.
I don't think that's possible. However using a Font Manager would accomplish the same thing. I've used Font Base. With it you can tell it what fonts are accessible by specific apps. https://fontba.se/ Quote Affinity Photo 2.1.1.; Affinity Designer 2.1.1.; Affinity Publisher 2.1.1.; Affinity2 Beta versions. R C-R
10 hours ago, Lagarto said: As a kind of work around, you can also mark fonts (as per family entry) as favorites, and then just list the favorites, though this needs to be done separately for each Affinity app. On Macs, in addition to the Favorites list the Character panel (but not the Font Family dropdown menu) supports Font Book categories in the Font Collections dropdown menu. It is (or at least was once) a bit buggy in that if you created a Font Book category named "Favorites" it conflicted with the same named Affinity app Favorites, but aside from that it works fairly well as a way to implement multiple custom font lists. I don't know if there is anything similar for Windows, though.
