kerryalma
Hello Friends, When illustrating, I like to vary the stroke width to give a calligraphic / ink brush look. In the attached example, I have a line selected and you can see the pressure nodes in the graph on the right. I decided that I want to delete some of the nodes, but am unable to do so. You can see I have one of the nodes selected in blue from clicking on it. When I hit the "delete" button on my keyboard, it deletes the entire line, not just the pressure node. Nothing happens when I double click on a node, or control click, or command click, or option click. I can't figure out how to get any options for it. I'm on a mac laptop and both the system software and affinity designer software are up to date. Can you help? Thanks, Kerry
Ron P.
Welcome to the forums @kerryalma, In Windows, to delete nodes in the pressure curve, Right-click on the node. I'm not sure what that would be on a Mac. Quote Affinity Photo 2.1.1.; Affinity Designer 2.1.1.; Affinity Publisher 2.1.1.; Affinity2 Beta versions. thomaso
Hi kerryalma, Welcome to the Affinity Forums! To delete a single node in the pressure curve make sure to have the curve "really" activated (~ in the UI focus). Just selecting the brush object or layer + opening the Pressure curve options seems not to work properly. To avoid the brush object getting deleted first move a node within the pressure options and then hit the delete key. This will "really" activate the pressure options and isn't required for further deletions with the curve options still opened. That behavior is indeed someway confusing, the UI seems not to focus correctly … feels like a bug. lepr 1 Quote macOS 10.14.6 | MacBookPro Retina 15" | Eizo 27" | Affinity V1 only
