William Overington
I have just learned of the existence of a PSD template. I have found that they are associated with Adobe Photoshop. Can any Affinity products be used to produce a PSD template please? William Quote Until December 2022, using a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 in England. Staff Callum Posted May 12, 2021 Staff Share Posted May 12, 2021 Hi William, All affinity apps can export to PSD so each should be suitable for producing a PSD template. Thanks C @Callum Thank you. Can they import a PSD document template sent to me from elsewhere please, so that I can apply it to produce a new PSD document? The Affinity apps can ‘understand’ Smart Objects now, so they can use PSD files that include them, but I’m not sure whether a PSD export from Affinity can include layers that Photoshop will treat as Smart Objects. It should be noted that any text in an Affinity document will not be rendered as editable text on export to PSD format. When I receive the PSD templates I will try to have a go and try to find out what happens. William Alfred 1 Quote Until December 2022, using a Lenovo laptop running Windows 10 in England.
