Kid Custard
This was a question i asked, a member sent me here..... Many thanks for the help on this matter, a very helpful lot you are.... i've not had a Mac for a few years so i'm a little rusty but the 'Spaces' thing seems just the ticket, i need to practice my swiping skills on the old trackpad..... whilst we're kind of on the subject of 'separate' or 'floating' windows i need to know if like in Photoshop it's possible to drag and drop either selections or entire images from one box to another without having to copy/paste.... it's something i miss being able to do (i make a lot of mandalas from my drawings too) .... maybe it is possible, i just don't know the trick! Thanks again all 🤟
R C-R
You already got an answer for this in your other topic, but to reiterate drag & drop from one Affinity document to another does not work because the drag is always interpreted as changing the object's position within its parent document, even when it is moved off the canvas, artboard, or page. For that, you must use copy & paste. Kid Custard
Thanks for your answer, we're forever learning, Photoshop have been doing this for about 20 years so maybe i just thought it's just a basic function that i was overlooking, thanks again. Fixx
You can drag&drop items form one document to another if you grab them from layers palette.
