kirk23
If layer compositions out of a question a simple "update snapshot" button could be a simple substitution. So I we move a layer or tweak something we wouldn't have to make another set of snapshots and delete previous ones for keeping them from multiplying uncontrollably. So if cetain layer is visible in snapshots A and B and I moved it or tweaked levels in an adjustable layer visible in snapshot A and C al those snapshots would be updated respectably. walt.farrell
It sounds like you have a different expection and/or usage of Snapshots than I have. To me, they're supposed to represent a point-in-time view of the document, and provide a simple way to get back to an earlier document state whose status I know. If they were to automatically change they could no longer provide that function. elguapo and Callum 2 Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU.
