Neceros
I want the grid and guide lines to hide while I'm panning around with the view tool. It's something I loved in InDesign. When I hold spacebar and pan around I would like for the grid lines, guidelines, and basically all markings that won't be printed to the sheet. It REALLY helps me see the whole page quickly as it will be on the paper. Thanks!

Neceros
Thank you I did not know about that. However, that takes too many steps. It is far better to just include it when holding the spacebar while panning around. In my opinion. Maybe I can assign it to a different key? Too bad the inconsistency between Affinity applications, because this feature (Preview Mode) would be useful in everyone.
