raschiapedane
Affinity Publisher version: 1.9.1 Mac OS version: 10.13.6 Reproducible: Always (see attachment sample file) It seems to me that Bleed Hazard Preflight Check is unable to detect objects adjacent to the bleed area if these objects are placed inside a Master Page. In my case I created a Master Page with a dark background. I used a rectangle to draw this background and I didn't realize that it was adjacent to the bottom bleed. Needless to say, I can see the cut line in the printed photo album. I believe this should not work this way. In the attached sample file, you can see that only the blue rectangle (in Page 1) rises a hazard. The red rectangle, instead, is pretty fine with the check but is going to be cut when printing Thank you, Andrea Untitled.afpub

Staff Pauls Posted March 18, 2021 Staff Share Posted March 18, 2021 The master page appears to have no bleed set - how did you set that up?

Document A has one Master Page with 10 mm bleed. 2. Document B has two Master Pages with 0 mm bleed. 3. In document A "Add Pages From File" document B. Result: Now I have two Master Pages. One with 10 mm bleed and one Master page with 0 mm bleed. I wonder if this behaviour could be used for a use case? In my case it was imported by an indesign file but you can do it manually as well with this procedure: 1) create a new document specifying bleeds 2) click document setup 3) deflag button "Facing Pages" You'll see that pages will have bleed while master pages not.
