ponce52
Affinity Publisher is not honoring the setting "Text Wrap Only Affects Text Beneath". The attached IDML will show that the text box on top of the tint box is not displayed due to the "wrap". If you move the text box so that it is no longer on top of the tint box you will then see the text. textwrap.idml
Old Bruce
The text frame needs to have the Ignore Text Wrap checked. There are going to be differences between InDesign files and Publisher files because they are different, they have different methods of achieving similar ends and we have to use the methods the application understands and is capable of using. ponce52
"ZOrderTextWrap" is a setting in the IDML which Affinity Publisher is not handling and is therefore a serious bug because the user would have to manually change the setting in Affinity Publisher for each and every occurrence. The application's (Publisher's) inability to apply a nonexistent function is also not a bug. That we can open IDML files is a bonus. These files should be expected to contain problems due to the incompatibility of the two applications' sets of features and functions. We should make plans for finding and fixing these problems.
