Dear all,

I am a new here. I do not know how to explain my issue, but I try:

I no longer see the red lines which appear when you place or move an object, the ones that show you if the object is in cetred aligned or aligned to another object.

Can someone help me?

Hope all bove makes sense

Thank you in advance

Welcome to the Affinity forums @Mary Andrenacci!

Maybe you changed a setting for "Snapping" or deactivated "Snapping" at all. It is the magnet tool from the top toolbar.

Hi @Mary Andrenacci - that looks like a baseline grid issue.  See here for detailed info: Baseline Grids.

The thing to be aware of is that baseline grid settings appear in various locations, so don't just jump on the first occurrence you find.
