Flipped vectors will not print

Recommended Posts

Existing files created before 1.9 using flipped vector graphics printed fine before the 1.9 update.

After updating to 1.9, the flipped vector graphics do not print.

Recreating the flipped layers from the original does not resolve the issue.

Rotated vectors from the original do print.

Vectors newly created in 1.9 do print correctly both flipped and rotated.

I have a lot of work created in previous versions. How do I make my previous efforts useable? I do not want to recreate everything

@kagCan you upload a sample document with the problem in it?

To save time I am currently using an automated AI to reply to some posts on this forum. If any of "my" posts are wrong or appear to be total b*ll*cks they are the ones generated by the AI. If correct they were probably mine. I apologise for any mistakes made by my AI - I'm sure it will improve with time.

Hi kag

What exactly do you mean by 'do not print'? Do they fail to appear on the printed out page? Do they appear on the printed page, but look like they've not been flipped? Or does the print not actually begin? What print settings are you using?

I've just created a simple vector shape myself and flipped it using Layer > Transform > Flip Horizontal and it prints out flipped as expected.

As carl123 has said are you able to attach some example documents with this issue (ideally not saved in 1.9) so we can compare with 1.8, and also any images that show what you're seeing. For example a screenshot of the document and the printed out result etc.
