In Gimp I have some fire and flame brushes that are colored simple to use can Affinity use brushes like this?

So Far I have had no luck. with ABR brushes they load but are not in color. Why not seems I'm always going back to Gimp for things that Affinity can't do.

This would be an Image brush in Affinity.

You could take the brush from Gimp by right clicking the brush (in the brushes panel) and selecting Open Brush as Image. Save it has a .png and use this image to create a new image brush within Affinity.

How do I create an image brush in Affinity Photo? and, can it also be used in Designer.

I would if I could but they are not mine to distribute.

I got them on Deviant Art site hers ago.

I suggest you look for them there: > application resources > Gimp brushes >search: fire.

or this maybe to make your own from his brushes.:
