help!! I have installed 1.9 and suddenly on the upper area of a page i have unwanted gaps/empty lines in the text. i attached a screenshot. this was definetely not in the previous version. My problem is now that i have to workaround a project with over 80 pages in it, if i can’t get a solution. PLEASE HELP ME!!!!

I had something similar, but it my case it was the Baseline Grid Manager set up wrong. Could you upload an excerpt of your document, because your problems does not seem related to the Baseline Grid Manager?

Have you checked that there are no hidden characters, such as line breaks?  It's conceivable that they were present before, but that your design was masking their presence.

It's easy to check: Text > Show Special Characters.  If I'm wrong, it only costs you a few seconds to at least rule this out.

Thank you!! I somehow managed it by changing the page margins. But it seems to be a new bug. The document in the screenshot was not changed in the previous Publisher version in any way. Old version, Document OK. After update: Work messed up, missed deadline.
