Shortcut for "zoom": mouse wheel + shift

Recommended Posts

I'm crazy from shortcut "Alt + mouse wheel". In Photoshop it is shortcut for zoom, here it rotates canvas. I do it  erroneously 100x in hour. It is possible to customize this shortcut?
And maybe one suggestion for "top-feature": do zoom via Right mouse button + wheel.
Thank You.

FYI you can shutoff the canvas rotate in the preferences. Preferences>Tools>Enable canvas rotation with cmd+scroll wheel.

In the same set of preferences there is a Use mouse wheel to zoom.  If that is unchecked then a alt/opt+scroll wheel zooms very nicely.  That's the way I use it.  The wheel without the alt/opt key is a vertical scroll.

Thanks, but doesn't really solve the problem. Ladislav, like myself, is asking for CMD + Wheel for zoom so that it matches other graphics software one might use. For instance I use Figma a lot which also has CMD + Wheel and it's very frustrating to switch between the two when I'll take a few seconds to adjust for this very basic operation. It messes with your flow.

i do SO hear you, i have the same problem - using Figma regularly being able to configure that in Affinity's tools would be so appreciated.

I'm a bit late to the party, but are there any updates on this topic? I moved to Affinity after many years of using Illustrator and this CTRL+Scroll vs ALT+Scroll issue has been the most challenging so far.

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

The methods of zooming in Designer are described in the Help: https://affinity.help/designer2/en-US.lproj/pages/GetStarted/zoom.html, so if you don't see what you want there it probably doesn't exist.
