Registering previous purchases in new account.

HI there,

I have Photo and Design for some years now, but I had to create a new account to purchase Publisher because it looks like my account was erased.

Do i have to register my previous purchases to the new account to get the updates? 

What would be the next step?

Welcome to the Affinity forums.

Your previous account is highly unlikely to have been erased but is it possible it used an email address which you no longer use?  To access that account you need to log in with that old email - hopefully you can remember the password since, if you no longer have access to that email address, a password reset link cannot be delivered to you, I think.

Since purchases of Affinity software are permanently tied to the email address used at the time of purchase I think there is no method of either registering your previous purchases to the new account nor of merging the two accounts into one.

You don't say what OS you use, but perhaps your prior purchases were via the Mac App Store or the Microsoft Store, rather than the Affinity Store? In that case you would need to upgrade using the store you purchased from, as Serif would have no record of your purchases.
