Cabbie Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Crashes, when selecting single Artboard for print. Print modal window. Switching from print all document to single artboard. Preview does not rerender. After 2 seconds Affinity Designer crashes. This error persists and is repeatable. MBP 16, Macos 11.2.1. Affinity Desigher 1.9.0 Sideshowlol 1 Quote
Staff Sean P Posted February 10, 2021 Staff Posted February 10, 2021 Hi Cabbie, We're aware of this issue and its with development to be fixed. Quote
Sideshowlol Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 Thanks for the acknowledgement Sean P. Designer is quitting unexpectedly for me on attempting to print any artboard from an AD file containing several artboards. Same file printed just fine in 1.8.6. Eventually managed to get a page to print from 1.9 by painstakingly rebuilding the page in a fresh document but it doesn't always work. The page contains some symbols. Exporting to pdf and printing from Preview app is the best workaround for me right now. Hoping for a fix soon. Many thanks to the devs for all their hard work in getting these bugs squished. Squarebear Posted February 10, 2021 Posted February 10, 2021 This is seriously affecting my workflow, I must say, so praying for an update really soon. Quote
scrutinizer Posted March 4, 2021 Posted March 4, 2021 Today, I experienced this crash as well: when I finished drawing a custom sized art-board by releasing the cursor Designer (1.9.1) hung and then crashed. macOS 10.9, the report attached. Additionally it generates tens of messages in Console complaining about issues with the colour system and fonts.
