Mikester
I use a palette generator called Coolors and I would love if there was an integration to display those saved palettes directly in Affinity. On Adobe there's a plugin for that and I'd love if Affinity had one too. I canceled my Adobe a long time ago but would love this functionality in Affinity. Thanks for looking in to it!! Mikester
The form autofilled that as I clicked through and then wouldn't let me change it right away because I am a new user. It did allow me after your reply so yay for that. Did you have a response to my actual comment?

Jowday
Here and now you can (a method than can be use with whatever image, bitmap or vector): export the palette as SVG from Coolor open it in Affinity Designer in the studio panel "Swatches" select from the "burger menu icon" one of these: Create palette from Document -> As application palette Create palette from Document -> As document palette Or of course: export the palette as ASE palette open it Affinity Designer and create/open a document in the studio panel "Swatches" select from the "burger menu icon" one of these: Import -> As application palette Import -> As document palette Quote "The user interface is supposed to work for me - I am not supposed to work for the user interface." Guest
Ooh @Jowday that's a brilliant little tip. I tend to use Sip to sample swatches/images in order to create Apple Color List (.clr) files that I can then import into various macOS apps (incl. Affinity). This function makes it far easier to go into Affinity from a set of colours contained in a PNG (like Coolors produces). I still wish Affinity would export palettes in any format other than their own .afpalette (which no other app can use).

In a business context these small files go back and forth between designers, printers, customer, partners whatever. It is rather annoying to use websites, services and what to connect people and systems just to exchange color tables. Another reason for many to just stick with what works in the big picture; Adobe. Speaking of palettes. Serif DrawPlus X8 had this little fellow built right into the program itself. That, too, couldn't export palettes.
