Hi, I've been using unsharp mask without a problem until today, now when i duplicate the layer, open the unsharp box and adjust the settings to how i want it, when I click apply, it goes back to the original blured image. Don't know if this has been since the upgrade? It works perfectly if I do a blur but not when i use unsharp mask Please help

Which Operating System are you using?

Does this also happen with the Live Unsharp Mask Adjustment filter?

The Live Unsharp Mask Adjustment filter is a non destructive alternative found on the layers panel

It works with the live unsharp mask Adj filter, but when i press Alt + Mask layer the screen goes blank

I have tried to replicate both issues reported above here, but unfortunately I'm not seeing the same behaviour - could you please provide a screen recording of this for me, so I can better understand the steps you're taking?

If you're unsure how to take a screen recording, please check out our FAQ linked below -

If you're using Windows, this may be due to the new OpenCL Hardware Acceleration. A few users are experiencing issues with this enabled, the number one cause of which is outdated Graphics Card drivers. Please visit the manufactures link below to download the latest driver available -

- Intel: https://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/support/detect.html
- Nvidia: https://www.geforce.com/drivers
- AMD: https://www.amd.com/en/support/kb/faq/gpu-driver-autodetect

Note: you may need to go direct to your PC manufactures website for a driver, if you see a warning regarding 'OEM drivers' when trying to install one from the above sites.

Once downloaded and installed, please restart your computer and then launch the Affinity app again.

Does this resolve any issues with your filters and masks please? :)
