I agree entirely with SVETO on this, it is so annoying that images open in a chaotic order, I compare a photo with the next one so I can delete the worst & keep the best. when they are not in order this is a pain, especially with wedding photography where you have to do this 100's of time

Hi, There seems to be a problem and I think it is since the latest upgrade. I open an image in Affinity Photo, press Ctrl J to duplicate the layer, then when I ckilck on Unsharp Mask, the little box comes up to adjust the sharpness which I do, but when I press APPLY it goes back to the unsharpened image as before. This does not happen if i use the blur tool, and did not happen before I did the upgrade. Can anyone help please?

It works with the live unsharp mask Adj filter, but when i press Alt + Mask layer the screen goes blank

Hi, I've been using unsharp mask without a problem until today, now when i duplicate the layer, open the unsharp box and adjust the settings to how i want it, when I click apply, it goes back to the original blured image. Don't know if this has been since the upgrade? It works perfectly if I do a blur but not when i use unsharp mask Please help

Hi, I use the clone brush tool a lot, when I had Photoshop, if i have two images open, i could clone from one image to the other open image, can this be done in affinity photo please?

Hi Walt, thanks for that. I've actually found another way of doing what I want. I opened an image, go to Develop Persona, in the basic tab make your adjustments, click develop, then use the Undo Brush Tool to get the areas I want back to the original. Works for me. Thanks again

Got it, and it works, I noticed you have to have the background layer highlighted in layers as well. Thanks for your info, much appreciated

Tried this but not working how i would like it. I'm trying to revert some of the editing back to the original using a brush, like you can in photoshop.

I've been using Photoshop CS5 for a few years but wanted to get into using Affinity Photo. I like using Affinty photo & I can do everything that i used to do on PS, apart from I used to use the History Brush Tool in PS a lot, the nearest thing in Affinity is the Undo Brush Tool, but can't seem to get it to work for me. I've looked at tutorials & You tube but there seems to be nothing that does what the History Brush Tool does. Can anyone help me with this please?
