Posted February 8, 2021 Share Posted February 8, 2021 I purchased through the Microsoft Affinity Photo on 21 April 2020 and Affinity Designer on 18 June 2020 both of which were updated to the latest version 05 February 2021. I have been trying to register both products but haven't had success with either product. Is it possible to give me answers to the following questions? - Did you buy the app from the Microsoft Store? - What version of Microsoft Store do you have running (found towards the bottom of the Settings page)? - What's the version number of c:\windows\system32\RuntimeBroker.exe? - Are you running any anti-virus software? Are you using a hardware firewall at all? Have you noticed any other issues with apps connecting the internet? FYI: We've had reports from other users that installing the latest beta of the app and signing into their account in that version resolved the issue in the Microsoft Store version. I have over 40 devices connected all are having no issues with any apps or other programs attaching. Bandwith is exceptional, and connections are not being dropped. Testing with Wireshark can confirm this. The only app having issues are the three affinity apps, Publisher, Designer and Photo. Do you have a detailed list of fix's the beta resolves. We appear to have a couple of issues with the My Account option in the 1.9 update that is affecting some users. We’ve just made available on the forum beta builds for both Affinity Photo and Designer for Windows (Publisher to follow soon) that should hopefully resolve these issues and give us the ability find out what could be causing the issues. So, if you’re getting… A crash when clicking My Account in 1.9 on Windows: This is fixed in the latest beta builds.
