I tried that. The master page result is inconsistent. For example, the margins do show up until I scroll and refresh the pages several times... then finally the last "apply" starts showing up.

When adding new pages the margins and numbers do not migrate to the new pages and I have to go back and apply again to see master config on added pages. Is this by design?

Another issue is the left/right margins show up but the top/bottom lines are not there... but just on some pages. Inconsistent behavior.

When adding pages, you can only specify 1 Master to be used. If you are using multiple Masters you will need to Apply the others. Or you might consider duplicating an existing page with the necessary Masters applied, rather than adding pages. Or you might consider having one Master with both the page numbers and margin Masters applied, and apply that Master when adding pages.

Sorry; no thoughts on that one without having a sample document that illustrates the problem.

There should be a choice of which Master page you want to apply to the to be created pages. Note that it can only be one page which can be applied.

I do have a question about why you have Page Numbers master page and then you want the Margins master page applied. Why do you not have margins on the Page numbers Master Page? Perhaps have 3 master pages Page Numbers (only) Margins (only) Page Numbers w Margins.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

I've discovered that when I add more page at end of a book I need to reapply the margin master with "replace existing" checked.

Then I add the numbers master with the "replace existing" NOT checked and the formatting is as expected.

The sequence is important as is the "replace existing" setting.
