1.9 upgrade issue when exporting as jpeg or TIFF - Affinity Photo on Windows 10 - the only option available is Affinity

I can not replicate that here. Are you sure you going to File>Export then selecting jpeg(jpg) or TIFF, and then pressing the EXPORT button at the bottom of the Export Dialog? If you choose Save or Save as, then yes, unless you're saving a jpg or tiff, and choose SAVE, you'll be presented with just the affinity photo proprietary working file format of afphoto.

HI Ron - yes, File - Export, then jpeg (or TIFF) then Export (I've been using Affinity for many months, so familiar with process. It was fine in previous version.

I've just reverted to my previous version 1.8.5 and its now working as it should. Let me know when the bug is fixed and I'll upgrade again! Thanks

Ok, Looking closer at your screenshots, the top one shows something real odd. The WMF format looks to be selected along with the jpeg. Don't know how that would happen. I tried to get it to, and it wouldn't. I couldn't get the program to give me the Save As window, unless I specifically select it from the File menu.

1. How did you update? Install over or clean install? FWIW, I over installed this time. Most of the time I do a clean install for new retail versions.

Tried a clean install, but no difference. However, if using the Export Jpeg or TIFF, despite the Windows Explorer window only showing the type as 'Affinity', (as my screenshots show) it does save the exported file as a jpeg (or TIFF) - very confusing - this needs fixing in Windows version..

I think the only change here is that the text has changed from "TIFF Files" to "Affinity Files"? The actual export is unaffected, and the filename has the correct extension? Though I admit it is confusing, and might cause some users to think that we're going to save an "afphoto" instead of a "tiff".

yes, that seems to be the issue. The file is exported correctly, as a jpeg (or TIFF). Confusing!
