JMichael
I've just downloaded the new AP 1.9.0.932 and immediately struck a problem. I'm halfway through editing 150 images for a presentation. With the new version of AP I find I cannot paint white onto a black mask though I can paint black onto a white mask. I can take an earlier edited image with a semi-white black mask but the new white brush does not add white, whereas the new black brush removes the whites. Can anyone solve this? Otherwise can I reload the old version and, if so, how do I do that? Thanks Michael
Dan C
Hi @JMichael, Sorry to hear you're having trouble and my apologies for the delayed response here! I'm not seeing the same issue unfortunately, can you please confirm for me: Are you using Mac or Windows? What OS version are you running? ie Windows 10, macOS 11.1? Does this happen in any document, or only certain ones? Many thanks in advance
JMichael
Thanks Dan Sorry, hadn't spotted this message until now. I solved the issue. It was a simple, stupid error on my part. The brush had been left set to 'darken' so no wonder it wouldn't act on a black mask. Regards Michael Dan C
Dan C
No problem at all, thanks for letting me know as I'm glad to here you've resolved the issue! There's no such thing as a stupid error if you've learnt from it - at least in my opinion jmwellborn
