Move pixels per channel in Affinity Photo

Beaten but I'll post it anyway
 

Select the area to be modified using one of the Marquee tools
Press V
In the Channels palette, turn off the channels editable symbol for green and blue
Move the selection with the cursor keys or mouse
Repeat for the other channels

Effective on pixel layers only

Well yes, gentlemen, you are all right. All the solutions provided produce the effect I was looking for. The solution provided by David is the one that most closely resembles the way I did it with Photoshop. And with the link provided by Anon2, I have learned 2 other ways to get the same done in Affinity Photo.
It is a great pleasure to have the help of the friends of this forum. Many thanks.
