Is this question appropriate?

Is there a planned release date for 1.9 retail for iOS? I'm hoping to open the files I saved in the beta version

Your question is appropriate. And there may be a planned release timeframe, but Serif generally does not comment on that beyond "it will be released when it's ready".

If you need your 1.9 beta work you will need to stay with using the 1.9 beta for now.

Okay I understand this, thanks. But it was my understanding that the beta had "expired", which is what it says if I try to launch it. So, is there a way that I can reanimate my copy of 1.9? Continuing to use 1.9 would be perfectly fine.

Sorry; I don't have an answer for that. I presume a new beta build will be along soon, but only sometime from Serif can reliably comment on it.
