Mayster
Hello, the program was already running and it was working fine. If I try to start now, by clicking the desktop icon ,I just get a one second loading curser and nothing happens after. Thats it. It started after the last update of Affintiy. But I don´t know if it`s the reason. The hints of the FAQ I checked as well. My Computer is one year old, everything is updated, Windows and grafic card. I haven´t changed or installed any programs. I have absolutly no idea Thanks for your help

Mayster
Thanks, I was guessing the same issue. Unfortunatly this is not helping too. I changed the Windows colour systems defaults and reinstalled the program and restarted the computer. Without succes.

walt.farrell
Then I think it will come down to examining the crash reports and system event logs. Staff Gabe Posted January 8, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 8, 2021 Hi both, Sorry for the delayed reply. We were closed over Christmas/NY. It seems to be a .net framework issue. Try updating to the latest .net and see how it goes. But before that, make sure you download the latest Affinity Photo version. You're currently running 1.8.3, and the latest version is 1.8.
Mayster
Hello, no problem at all. I checked the .net framework, could not get a newer one. Did also the last windows update today . I have the newest update dowloaded (AP) and installed. Despite of this, it is still the same and not starting.
Staff Gabe Posted January 11, 2021 Staff Share Posted January 11, 2021 Have you tried uninstalling/reinstalling/repairing .net?
