Copying colors from gradients

Recommended Posts

I am copying RGB values of gradient stops into code. Annoyingly, the color window for an Affinity Designer gradient stop disappears when focus moves to the IDE. I must then memorize the values, unlike solid fills where the color studio stays open and readable.

(A) Can I do something differently to keep the gradient stops clearly visible or copy out their values?

(B) If not, Affinity, please read and fix this usability issue in an update.

If it was possible to store the gradients in a colours palette like the other gradients, as asked long ago (to store them easily and apply them as swatches to Gradient Overlay layer), you could use the Colour Chooser or the Colour Panel to display the values.

Yes, it's possible with gradients, and a little tricky with gradient overlay effect... I didn't paid attention and though it was about AP Gradient map, but in which it's not easy te get colour value like in the Gradient overlay effect.

It would be helpfull to convert/add those gradients to swatches from the sub-palettes, and being able to pick them from the swatches too.
