ZERO6087 Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I'm trying to edit the picture using selection brush. When I selected the area I see the selection. Then I want to invert the selection. Clicking the menu option all selection disappeares. A can't select certain area on the image. I need select everything except area of screen. Quote
GarryP Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 Welcome to the forums @ZERO6087 Can you show us a full-screen screen-grab showing your initial selection and another showing what you see after you have inverted the selection? Also, it’s worth noting that pixel selections don’t work on Image layers (they have “(Image)” after their name in the Layers Panel), but it does work on Pixel layers (they have “(Pixel)” after their name in the Layers Panel).Note: In this particular case I would probably use the Rectangular Marquee Tool to get a good crisp rectangle selection. Old Bruce Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 I am thinking this is down to having multiple Artboards in your document. Plus from your screen shots I can't be certain that you have the Pixel layer selected in Arboard1. Kind of / sort of looks like you have at least three Artboards selected plus the Pixel layer in # 1. I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
ZERO6087 Posted December 4, 2020 Author Posted December 4, 2020 It seems due to multiple Artboards. I've created the new doc and did the same operations over there. It's ok. Strange Quote
walt.farrell Posted December 4, 2020 Posted December 4, 2020 There are known issues with having multiple Artboards and inverting pixel selections.
