Phatman
Hi, why is it that when you select a grouping of objects in Designer then click off there's a purple glow animation? I find it distracting and a bit unnecessary. Quote flickr - https://www.flickr.com/photos/s-t-e-v-e/
Alfred
That purple glow identifies Snapping candidates. You can toggle it off via the options in the Snapping Manager (accessed via either the magnet on the toolbar or the ‘Snapping Manager’ option on the View menu). Staff MEB Posted December 1, 2020 Staff Share Posted December 1, 2020 Hi @Phatman, Welcome to Affinity Forums To turn off the animation, go to the Snapping Manager (menu View > Snapping Manager or clicking the respective icon in the main toolbar as shown in the screenshot above this reply) and change the Candidates dropdown to anything else other than Candidate List.
