walt.farrell
I'm at the US version of the Affinity Store (https://affinity.serif.com/en-us/store/) and just tried to purchase the Twisted Brushes (normally $18 US, currently $12). To my surprise, when I add them to the cart, I see: Why does it want to bill me in Australian dollars? That has never happened before. Note: It does go back to USD when I sign in. Staff StevenS Posted November 25, 2020 Staff Share Posted November 25, 2020 Hi Walt, This usually occurs when a VPN is being used, or a browser plugin (or similar) is showing your device as being in a different location. Currently whilst working from home and using a remote connection, all sites think I am in Ireland all though I am very much still in Nottingham. The good news is that the currency will default to that of your Affinity Store account once you are signed in. walt.farrell 1 Quote Any spelling or grammatical errors found in the above post are deliberate and included to boost the self-esteem of those who spot them. walt.farrell
Thanks, Steven. Still seems odd, as I do not have my VPN enabled, but all's well in the end Quote -- Walt Designer, Photo, and Publisher V1 and V2 at latest retail and beta releases PC: Desktop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 64GB memory, AMD Ryzen 9 5900 12-Core @ 3.00 GHz, NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3090 Laptop: Windows 11 Pro, version 23H2, 32GB memory, Intel Core i7-10750H @ 2.60GHz, Intel UHD Graphics Comet Lake GT2 and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3070 Laptop GPU. iPad: iPad Pro M1, 12.9": iPadOS 17.4.1, Apple Pencil 2, Magic Keyboard Mac: 2023 M2 MacBook Air 15", 16GB memory, macOS Sonoma 14.4.
