Helmar
Addendum: adding pages crashes, too. Version: lastest official. I will now try the beta.
Helmar
Crashes in the latest Beta, too, rendering document editing useless. Any ideas/hints?

SPaceBar
Hi @Helmar Sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem. Unfortunately I haven't been able to reproduce this from the title alone and will need more information. I've just opened a document in the latest Beta and tried deleting 2 pages and adding pages and I haven't experienced a crash. This could be related to a specific step you are doing and I am only assuming the steps here. Can you upload a video of the steps you take to create the issue please? Can you also upload one of the documents you were working on when you experienced the issue please? I can provide a dropbox folder link if you don't want to upload it publicly. Thanks
Helmar
Yes, please provide a dropbox folder. 2 minutes ago, SPaceBar said: Hi @Helmar Sorry to hear you are experiencing this problem. Helmar
Other thing: Can you please check: if you have a document with missing resources and the resource manager open, then open another document with missing resources and open the resource manager, too, does the app become unusable (apple system bleep)? Can't replicate this here either. Thanks Sent you a PM with the Dropbox Link so that you can check the file. I can't add/delete pages without the document crashing. And there's no way to check the document for integrity. @Gabe, if you're interested in the file, check with @SPaceBar. Alternatively I can PM you the dropbox link, too. Helmar
On that note, it would be nice if a document can be made backward compatible again. I didn't use any 1.9 features in my document, but it's still no longer openable in 1.8.
SPaceBar
Thanks for the document, I will take a look at it and get back to you.
SPaceBar
This issue was related to an orphaned Master Page. It's now been deleted and is working fine. Sent you a PM.
Helmar
Here, too, THANK YOU! It was indeed an orphaned master page, which I could delete in the original document, then add again without crashing. Never suspected that, but that's why you guys are doing such invaluable work! Hat-tip!
