When I open a RAW file (Canon CR2) in v1.9.0.820. then in the Develop Persona I increase the exposure and hit Develop. When the Photo Persona opens, the screen flashes and the image loses the exposure applied in the Develop Persona. Tried this on several different raw files and always get the same result.

@Mick Govan

Welcome to the Affinity forums!

I've just tested this process in beta 1.9.0.820 (Canon CR2 opened in Develop Persona, deliberately increased "Exposure" slider, pressed Develop) and the image opened in Photo Persona with the desired increased Exposure showing.

However, I did see something rather "strange" when increasing the exposure in Develop; initially, and for a few seconds after, only the extreme right side of the image showed the effects of the increase.  This did eventually "correct" itself and the whole image showed the increase.  I wonder whether this "slight anomaly" is being caused by the introduction of the OpenCL feature for the Windows version?  Clearly, I'm assuming you are on Windows!  If you are a MAC user, I really have no idea about what could be causing this for you.

OK, I've re-installed v1.9.0.820 and tried again. Now when I increase the exposure in the Develop Persona and Develop, when the Photo Persona opens, it shows the new exposure setting, drops to the original exposure setting for a moment, then goes back to the new exposure setting again (as described by Jeff above).

Wa about to say that you might have changed something in the 32bit preview panel.

Sounds like it's all fine now :)
