Sebastian Bohmann
Disclaimer: Nothing bad happened on my side, it wasn't a work intensive image, I was just getting to know some features of the app But I had added a few new brush lines to the tree and after updating the iPad like 15 minutes or half an hour later, those additions were gone. The were in the same layer as the tree itself. Attached: the image after the update, missing a few features, just to prove that I personally didn't lose any relevant work 😅
Sebastian Bohmann
Missing: brighter brown rings along the trunk plus a few strokes in the same brighter brown color actually connecting the trunk and the leaves 🤣
DM1
I think mods have reported intermittent failure to save as a bug. To be sure it has saved in the meantime, use the 3bar menu on Home Screen.🙂 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Saving is important as it creates an accessible file that you can backup. Without saving your file is only in iPads app sandbox and you can’t access it any other way. Think of unsaved files as 'tabs' in a browser. Close the tab and your file is gone and cannot be recovered! SPaceBar 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). Lol, not when you are in private browsing mode and have set it to clear history on closing. 😉 Alfred 1 Quote M1 IPad Air 10.9/256GB lpadOS 17.1.1 Apple Pencil (2nd gen). SPaceBar
Hi @Sebastian Bohmann I was the same when I first got my iPad but learnt the hard way. Now I treat it like my desktop or any laptop and I save after any significant change. I save if I walk away for a while and save if I stop working and switch apps. It's best not to leave anything to chance. DM1
