transitdiagrams Posted October 4, 2020 Posted October 4, 2020 Hey! I just wanted to draw something. Did so but it created a path that doesn't show in the layer panel. Assigning a stroke width or color or fill doesn't make it appear. As soon as I deselect it's gone for good... Starting new paths does bring the same results. Is this a know error? Using the latest release version. Chris PS: Only happened once so far and with the next restart I could draw normally again. Staff Sean P Posted October 5, 2020 Staff Posted October 5, 2020 Hi Transitdiagrams, This is an issue that can occur if you delete all the nodes of an object using the Node Tool and then use the Pen Tool to create a new object - unfortunately it attempts to place the nodes in the now deleted object. For example Draw a few nodes using the Pen Tool Switch to the Node Tool Ctrl+A to select all nodes and press Delete - note the object disappears Switch to the Pen Tool and begin drawing - Observe no object appears in the Layers Panel. The good news is that this has now been resolved in the 1.9 beta. Quote
