Frame text tool is acting strange

Recommended Posts

Could be:

  1. Left Inset in the General section of the Text Frame studio panel. Or
  2. Left Indent in the Spacing section of the Paragraph studio panel.

Besides the left indent I wonder about the selection marquee which seems to get activated as soon you click on the page with the frame text tool. If it occurs after an app or even computer restart: Can you show the layers panel while repeating this action?

Sharp eye, Thomaso.

I was wondering about that, too.  I restarted everything but that outline still occurs. It only occurs on that one page. It starts when I click on the page. Here's a video of the layers panel while I repeat the action. Any ideas?

I can reproduce such a selection in APub by a temporary switch to the Photo Persona > Select All to create this pixel selection marquee > switch back to APub. This will maintain the selection on the specific page. You can get rid of it in any of APub's personas via menu Select > Deselect.
