Invisible selection copied into assets panel

Hi,

Opened assets panel in a newly created document in Affinity Publisher, and created a category as well as subcategory. These show with their names and little triangles to open/drop down tab. Then selected a text box in the document (selected in layer), and using the little assets drop down "add from selection"  added it to the assets subcategory. The item is however invisible within in the assets area, and I could only verify its existence there by right clicking probingly around in the 'empty' assets area - which then suddenly shows a blue frame with option to rename or delete the item. When trying to take a screenshot of that area for this report, an icon with the selection name became visible momentarily when I moved the screenshot selection over the asset part of screen, but vanished again.

Using Catalina 10.15.6, and Publisher 1.8.4., dark mode

Thanks,

Peter

What you need to do is click on the 'Hamburger Menu' at the right of the Assets Panel and choose Show As List

I will say that this is not obvious.

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.5.5 | Affinity Photo 2.5.5 | Affinity Publisher 2.5.5 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.
