This doesn't seem to work when brushing on a pixel layer that is a child of a vector object.
Staff MEB Posted September 14, 2020 Staff Share Posted September 14, 2020 Hi fde101, This is for editing Spare channels in the Channels panel. Not sure what you are doing but doesn't seem related with the feature in question. Do you mind providing more details? Thanks. I selected the red channel and was trying to paint on an ellipse with a white brush. That works if I first rasterize the ellipse, but if I do not, a pixel layer is created inside the ellipse and selected, and the brush does not work. It does seem to work with a spare channel, except that the reset button on the channel panel doesn't get me back consistently to the "normal" mode. In the end it still behaves fundamentally differently from the "normal" channels and I really don't see the point in that.

I'm worried that the channel editing is going to be expanded in convoluted, cumbersome and unintuitive ways. fde101
fde101
It is better than it was, but still not what it should be.
