Hi there,

I recently moved to an iMac from a MacBook Air. Running affinityphoto on my Air has been no problem, but since I have switched over, my iMac has had issues with panic restarts. I continue to use the software on my Air with no problems.

Has anyone else had this issue? Is this a bug in the software?

Hi and welcome to the forums @LM_ShutterPro,

Is the iMac new or a number of years old, what OS is it running (is it the same as the Air) and finally how did you install Photo?  Did you install from Migration Assistant, or did you use the Mac App Store or Affinity's Store? Is it the current retail version 1.8.4?

Mac Pro (Late 2013) Mac OS 12.7.6
Affinity Designer 2.6.0 | Affinity Photo 2.6.0 | Affinity Publisher 2.6.0 | Beta versions as they appear.

I have never mastered color management, period, so I cannot help with that.

Hi there,

It is a new imac (purchased in July new from Apple). It is running the most current OS (10.15.6). It was installed from a Time Machine back up from my air. It is the current Affinity 1.8.4

Hi LM_ Shutter Pro,

Welcome to the forums :)

Please could you try doing a fresh reinstall of the app directly from our website?
