On numerous occasions I've had prints show the border lines of my layers. Now, I just printed a file and it's shows a dark box around the text. None of the layers had an outline in the file. This has happened with Designer and Photo. When I rasterize everything and make it one image, it solves the problem. I shouldn't have to do that.

Hi @Loyalty Is Key :)

Sorry to see you're having trouble! I've seen this happen before when images are using 'mismatched' colour spaces, or there is an issue with transparency in one or more of the files.

Could you please provide a copy of your Affinity document, so we can look into this further for you?

Many thanks in advance!

I have the same problem. Thin lines appear around layers. I have gone in to some layers and erased some of them, but some seem to become embedded as I work and then are only removed by painting over. Which brings me to a MAJOR problem I’ve been having-the paint tool does not paint. I’m trying to attach a file this is visible in, but the attachment option won’t seem to load. I can email it if you give me the address for help. Appreciate any help. I also have purchased this program for desktop but I am so frustrated with the iPad version I mainly use, that I haven’t checked to see if it happens when using it. I just go back to relying on GIMP to try to rescue my work. Thanks again for your help.

Thanks, Leigh. I’m afraid I don’t have a layered file to share since I found a work around and fixed up my files. This is a closeup of one piece that shows the lines around layers that appear when saving file. I think the outline is appearing around imported png images. The workaround I do now, is to vector crop and then rasterize and trim each imported png. Hope this helps. All of the pngs I imported were saved from Procreate.

As for the paintbrush not working, I have no idea why that was the case for almost a week, but, thankfully it is now working!
